limewire free download music mp3Is there a better free download music mp3 than Limewire?

There's a few older dance songs that I have on vinyl I really want to put on my ipod. They also are not on CD but I have found so many songs that aren't that I've downloaded. Thanks- Rob

There are no free downloading programs available on the web; however, if you are looking for some old disco tunes then you may be able to find them for free.

Here is how you do it.

1. Go to any search engine such as Alta Vista, Google, or Yahoo and type in the song with the MP3 extension. For example, if you are looking for 2000 Miles by the Pretenders then type “2000 Miles (Pretenders).mp3” in the search box and then press the search button.

2. Depending how available it is, you might get 10 or 100 files with direct links to the MP3 song. Open the files one by one to check if the song is available and free.

3. Once it is determined to be free then just download the song into a designated folder in your C-Drive. You now have a flimewire free download music mp3ree MP3 song on your computer.

Bear in mind that today’s current songs are most likely not free so you might have to go to Napster and pay $0.99 per song. However, I found out that most popular songs from the 1960s through the 1980s are usually available for free. But it is a lengthy and tedious process. I downloaded 114 songs for free because there were available at about 100 different websites; but it took me six months to find and download within my daily lifestyle. These 114 songs consisted of songs from the 1960s through the 1980s and were 8 hours long. I finally downloaded them on a CD-ROM for permanent storage.

I hope this helps.
From what I've seen Limewire is the best one. Since most people have it, you have a better chance of them having what you want. Make sure to look at the file size when you DL something The average song is 3-6MB if it's anything more than that, be wearing of DLing it. For longer songs (five min songs) - they're about 10-12MB.
yes of course.....

i wouldn't use any file sharing applications, i got so many viruses on so many computers from those.
Just download them legally, and it'll be good.

But if you cant pay, just google the song, and add "free mp3"
I used to use software called Blubster, but it's pretty basic to use.
Try uTorrent, the software doesn't really take up any storage. You can download as much music as you wwant.
Jamglue.com
literally all you do is join nd you get free music. no strings attached.
Limewire is SO ILLEGAL and it gives you so many viruses (if you have a pc), I heard Snow Leopard doesn't give you viruses, but ti's also ILLEGAL!!!
You should use:

Filecroc (i use it and is very fast and simple)
Ares (the same ****)
below's file link i've searched for you
You could give Ares a try, its pretty basic but it does the job :-)
