are they stopping avg free, as I get a message saying I have to upgrade to avg 8.0 as they a stopping updates for 7.5 ( free version)
There is a new version of AVG free edition out avg 8.0 free edition i've been using it for over a week now.
No AvG 7.5 will remain free. You do not have to upgrade.
I get those messagavg freees too, but I still get updates for the free version. If they stop I will be searching for another free one. Why pay for it?
switch to avast antivirus. it is just as good as avg and is free for the home edition.
AVG Free 7.5 are stopping updates on 31st May 2008. I changed to Avast 4.8 and found it a bit too heavy oavg freen resources, so I use Avira Antivir which is really light.
I get them every time i start pc,while 7.5 upgrades i always get the why not upgrade to 8.0 but its not free so why bother just ignore it and if AVG 7.5 stops just get another freeby
avg 8.0 is ALSO free so why not upgrade?
