Why do women like dancing? Is it sexual? Is it the closeness? Every answer I have found is, "It's fun." Well why is it fun? I am not trying to cut down dance in any way and am not being macho. I just want to understand why so many women like dancing while so few men (myself included) do. Also, it seems to me that most men "enjoy" dancing only as long as it can get them women. Since this is not my concern, why dance learn to dance at all?
Most women like to dance because it's a form of expressing themselves in a joyous manner. It's one method of stress relieve in a positive, energetic way. Depending on the type of music, dancing can sometimes be meant for a sexual purpose of obtaining closeness to another individual. Dancing increases ones energy level, and boosts mental stamina. Yes, Dancing Is FUN! It has so many benefits, physical, mental, and social:
it teaches relationships necessary in close teamwork;
it teaches discipline through practice and routines;
it teaches an appreciation and further understanding of music's rhythm and temp;
it teaches economics and fluidity in movement;
it teaches poise and balance; it teaches self-confidence;
it teaches good dress and appearance.
it teaches a skill and ability that will be very useful all throughout life - in social situations, in business growth, and in offering a great exercise.

I think that the whole women dance and guys don't is a bit dated as I know guys who love to dance and women who can't stand it.
At the end of the day it comes down to your own personal preferences, if you don't enjoy dancing you probably find it hard to see why people are so into it and people who love to dance can't always see why other people aren't so keen.
The best advice I can offer to you is to look around at the different types of dance and see if you find one which is better suited to you as a person. Really you should only continue dancing if you really want to, if you're not that interested then you're probably just stressing yourself further.

Dance is one way to the perfection and to attrawhy i like dancect the opposite and in this way they not only establishes their supermacy but establishes a more space around them.
Men and women dance because it is exercise to rhythm. Some dancing reaches aerobic heights. You can save money over joining a fitness club for moderate exercise just by loving to dance. Even without romantic feelings for anyone at the dance, dancing is fun. It is social.
The gender balance at contra dances is very good. At Glen Echo in the D.C. area, some 300 men join some 300 women. Here in Colorado it is about 75-75. In contra dance, you dance with one partner and meet all your neighbors by progressing up or down the set. At the end of the dance, which is called to live musicians, you thank your partner and invite another partner for the next dance. This socializing factor is wonderful.
Swing dance is pretty well gender-balanced, too.
It doesn't really matter why anyone dances. Everyone has individual likes and dislikes. If you don't like to dance, then please don't. But any man out there who does want to dance, well then by all means I will be more than happy to dance with you.

The past couple of weeks, I noticed a trend in church. I'm not generally a fatigued person, and I'm also fairly spiritual (though not necessarily in the "organized religious" way.) Anyway, I found it strange how frequently I yawn in church. I mean... it's literally at least one time per minute, and it only began this last year. Sometimes, I'll feel completely normal, like I'm not about to yawn... and then I do. Aside from just yawning a LOT, I noticed that almost each time it happens, the priest seems to be looking in my direction, and often sees me yawning. I'm afraid there's some sort of superstition that goes along with it. But at any rate, I'm getting creeped out by the whole idea. I feel like I can't help it! Any ideas?

persistent yawning
1. Other people near you have yawned (I love using this one... Yawns are like biochemical weapons)
2. Boredom (common cause)
3. Awareness of previous yawn (I think this may be the possible cause in your case. If you think about yawning, and you keep thinking "don't yawn dont yawn" etc then you'll yawn)
It could be anything though... Disturbed sleep patterns etc... I personally think that it may be the fact that you are in a room with a bunch of other people, and people breath out carbon dioxide and yawning is also caused by an excess of carbon dioxide rather than oxygen in the blood, so you yawn in order to get more oxygen... MAYBE, your church is poisoning you =P just a joke.
That mean's your acutally not getting enuogh oxygen flowing in your body, the yawning helps get xtra 02 flowing; and it may also signal that you're unconciously getting bored lol

Some people like me who smoke try and hide it because they know it's bad. Caffenie is addicting if you drink 12 cokes a day and then try to just stop you get headaches same with cigarettes. Pay for substances to help people stop smoking and they will stop but otherwise people think in short term its easier to buy a pack of cigarettes than a box of Nicorette.

The first cig might have been to look cool, but the rest arent. It actually IS addicting, and no, you really DONT understand what that means if you have never had a chemical addiction before.

I socially smoke and I think the last time I smoked was a week or two ago. I actually like the hint of cigarette smoke ... I think my dad smoked throughout my entire childhood (even though he quit 7 years ago) and it makes me feel nostalgic. I go to college and my friends and I sometimes have stoge breaks. I don't really know why I do it but it helps me calm down and helps me think more. I smoke a cig or 2 when I'm feeling really down but I'm not addicted to it.

ok here is the deal i recently changed insurance form horrible cigna to medicaid and the thing is my obgyn gave me a prescription for prenatals but the insurance i have will not cover it so when i called the pharmacy and told them about the switch they said that the obgyn that i was seeing had to call in a different prescription but he won't because he doesn't take the insurance that i have so i have to switch once again i asked a nurse when i called to just make an appointment for next month for me because i should then have blue care insurance but until then could i go see another dr that takes that insurance she said no. i have three prenatals left. does anyone know of any over the counter prenatals?
One Source Prenatals. They sell them in Walmart and are OTC and work very well. Ive been taking them all throughout pregnancy and my baby is doing great.

Try getting some Ovaltine, either the 'malted milk' flavor or the 拙克力 flavor and drink one or two glasses of that every day. I learned about Ovaltine when I was pregnant, because I threw up every time I tried to take a prenatal vitamin. I was reaask a nurse cignading the nutritional information on a can of Ovaltine I was buying for my sons, and saw that they're the same vitamins in the same amounts, even folic acid. You might also try taking a regular multi-vitamin and then take the other supplements to give you what you need in your prenatal vitamins. Be sure you tell the new Ob/Gyn doctor what you are doing, though, and ask if there should be any 'overlap' between your 'make-shift vitamins' and the real prenatal vitamins. I asked why he didn't write a prescription and he said that it was easier for me because I didn't have to waste my time going and getting them. It was like one stop shopping.

mapquest sarasota flRoad Trip From Austin, TX To Sarasota, FL?
My husband and I are planning to move to Sarasota in June. He's going to be driving a 24 ft Uhaul and I'll be following him in our Cobalt. Is there anyone out there that's taken a Texas to Florida trip that can help me estimate... or even "guess-timate" close enough to the kind of mileage it's gonna take for both vehicles? Also, does anyone have any ideas for the very best route to take? (I'm looking on mapquest & google and crossing my fingers that they know best.) And I know we're gonna stop once in between, but I'm trying to effort if it should be in Louisiana, Mississippi, etc. I've just never taken such a big trip like this in a car and could use a little guidance. Thank you so much for all your help!

Other times, it can be that the man doesn't feel appreciated by his wife, so he'd rather spend time with someone who can make him feel more appreciated (in whatever way).

So I'll be all awake and feeling good, but then someone will come to me and start talking to me and I will start yawning. Like constantly. It seems that the people Days hires only use the show to further their career, characters like Rex, Cassie, Chelsea, Max, Jeremy, Nick, Morgan and others I can't remember are only on the show until their contract expires and they just mess up the show. Atleast hire actors that want to be there for we could grow to love them like, Sami, Bo, Hope, Marlana, John, Maggie, Victor.......... Every time they bring in a new character I know that they will be gone in 5 years or something.
Because it's not the same soap as it once was & the same people aren't running the "show" anymore. Some people are stupid too. I..e. ALL the writers. I don't even know why I still watch this after 21 years. I agree there has been an influx of young & "rising" actorsdays of our lives actors over the last few years.
