Basically, it means that the only meat a person eats is Fish or Seafood.
They aren't vegetarian, but feel they need a label to differentiate themselves from others.
Yes, they usually consume dairy and eggs.
To not eat fish, but still eat milk & eggs makes you ovo-lacto vegetarian. Most vegetarians fall into this category.
I have been a pescatarina for about 4 years and pescatarian is briefly a vegetarian but eats sea food. If you search vegetarian food (what they can&cant eat) you can find on there what you should&shouldnt eat however you are aloud to eat anything which is seafood or water food.
Only fish and seafood and anything else a vegitaian will eat.
No meat except for fish and seafood. Eggs and dairy are still allowed, unless you choose not to eat thepescatarianm.
you eat only fish and vegetables. no other meats. milk and eggs would be a ovo/lacto pescatarian or an ovo/lacto vegetarian.
Pescetarian is a vegetarian diet that includes fish and seafood.
You dont eat any meat (geletin and rennet included) but you do eat fish. Dont let anyone tell you chicken isnt a meat - I dont know where the hell that came from but last time I checked a chicken was an animal. You can also eat dairy and eggs if your pescatarian x
You can drink and eat milk and eggs as long as the eggs are not fertilized otherwise you would be VEGAN. If you do eat chicken and fish you would be Pescatarian a level of becoming a vegetarian but they are still meat just not mammals. Once you actually do become vegetarian you cannot eat chicken or fish. Because they are both animals still no matter what.
a pescatarian is someone who does not eat meat but eats fish. so no chicken and red meat, just fish. yes they eat milk and eggs, that is vegan, even thepescatariann vegans do not eat fish.
go to
or just look up Pescetarian in google for more information.
You abstain from all meats except for fish.
PESCATARIAN:
Occasionally used to describe those who abstain from eating all meat and animal flesh with the exception of fish. Although the word is not commonly used and a pescatarian is not technically a vegetarian, more and more people are adopting this kind of diet, usually for health reasons or as a stepping stone to a fully vegetarian diet. Pescetarians often believe that moderate consumption of fish or fish oils, which are high in Omega-3 fatty acids, is necessary for optimum health, although vegetarian alternatives, such as flax seed oil, are available.
