There is a homeless man outside in a dumpster laying down, i am on the second floor above him. I tried talking but he is not talking or moving. I threw several pennies at him and nothing. Why is he sleeping in my dumpster. Should I pour water next to see if he moves? Its way below freezing outside. Help.

It gives him warmth. And if someone throws pennies at me, you better hope I stay quiet.
He may be sleeping there because it is warmer than sleeping on the street.do people sleep I would check that he is still alive BUT DON'T pour water on him. Even thinking about that makes you thoughtless..

Dumpsters are warm. They are rain and snow resistant. There is usually enough material in them to make a bed and cover up. The cops and passers by can't see you. It's like an armored cardboard box.
